Went to Swiss chalet take out. Placed order and paid for it. Was told it would take 10-15 mins. So I went to pick up my sons. Returned to the store and waited for several minutes for anyone to come out. Once the individual came out I was told that they gave my order to someone else and they would would have to be cooked again.. Disappointed by lack of professionalism and lack of control over who gets what order. It was NOT busy at all. I was the only customer in the take out area. Highland rd store in Kitchener Ont.

Approximately 4:30pm called to order by phone for pick up at Meadowlands, Ancaster. Placed name phone along with order for Thanksgiving Special asked pick up store again and was told this store was not accepting pre pick up order or delivery was closed and told would have to go to the store directly. My husband then drove to the store in Ancaster. When arriving there was five customers ahead and all of them stated picking up preorder by phone. Their orders were ready. My husband placed his order for the Thanksgiving Special. None were available had to order something else. When he asked if he was going to be compensated with a desert or discount
, the answer was flatly No. He placed the order for basic quarter chicken dinners. Around 6:00pm called for customer service, waited over 20 minutes asked to speak to someone regarding complaint. Waited another 10:00 minutes. Explained the situation and her reply was as long as they didn’t charge us for the Special we have no grounds for complaint when I tried to speak she repeated the same and was not listening to anything I had to say and hung up on me. Then there is the message regarding giving your email. I get all kinds of emails for specials . Two weeks ago we did order the thanksgiving special and tried to fill the survey and would it accept my email address. I tried again to call Main Customer Service and the woman explained the complaint is wit the store if unresolved place comments here. So here we are .BAD experience all around

Mother's day ordered meals no chicken in 1 order called toll free number all they did was take number name code told someone would call no call not a happy camper

A delivery from Swiss Chalet

I placed an order from the Wonderland and Southdale Swiss Chalet in London on May1/2021 in the evening and the salad was missing. I called the restaurant the next day and the manager Ani replaced the whole meal. I was very impressed with his customer service! When the delivery arrived it was discovered the original salad was sitting outside on the step from the night before and had not been in the bag with the rest of the meal that was handed to me. The person delivering the meal did not tell me it was there and did not see it as it was night. This was an honest mistake.

The food was cold coffee a little to strong burger was half cooked fries were cold An hard an friends had meat pie the crust looked not cooked came right off the meat pie looked like the curse sat around awhile sorry

Rude treatment at Stouffville location

The management at the Stouffville location acts as if they are doing you a favour by allowing you to order their food. I was picking up an order that I couldn't order online because the item is not on their online menu (!!) and when I saw them packing up my order I approached the pickup counter. The manager rudely ordered me back to another area in the restaurant where there were already 4 people waiting. At that time, there was no one within 10 feet of me, and 30 seconds later my order was ready.
I will not patronize a place where the manager is on a power trip and feels that it's ok to treat customers like cattle.

Take out service is downright horrible

This is third and last time we will ever order out from the swiss chalet located at rymal and upper Ottawa streets in Hamilton. The first two times both orders were missing parts of the order. I had to travel back to the store to get what we exactly we ordered. The salads were so bad I wouldn't feed to my dogs. I threw out so much of the salad because most of it was made up of the hard core. The spring rolls were burnt to the point they were flaky and falling apart. The third time just tonight 02/20/21 was no better. The whole chicken we ordered came with BBQ sauce on it which we didn't order. The salads were of the same consistency with pieces of core on them. Again the spring rolls were burnt. I guess the staff which prepares take out orders just don't care of the quality. Well we're done ordering from SC ever again. Please don't ask me what you can do to prevent this from happening again because from some of the reviews I have read many other people have similar complaints.

Very bad dinner.

Tonight we picked up 2 dinners at the O’Connor location. The fries were definitely had been sitting around too long, the buns were stale and hard. Very disappointed, will not go there again. I do not recommend this location.

I ordered a half rack of ribs with fries paid for fries did not get them very disappointed in there service I will not choose Swiss chalet next time

Just recently ordered

Just recently ordered, from the location on Montreal road.
In Ottawa Ontario the, delivery took ninety minutes.
They were not busy, the roads were clean no snow or ice.
My food was ice, cold not edible went in the garbage.
Sent them an email, did not even have.
The courtesy to respond, business have to remember.
Word of mouth, can ruin there business.

It’s New Year’s Eve.

It’s New Year’s Eve.. we ordered 3 meals. Didn’t get a piece of chicken with one meal and didn’t get a salad with other meal.. but we were charged for it. I tried contacting them (dartmouth crossing) and couldn’t talk to a human all day (for hours). I will not be bringing my business here again.

We usually buy our Swiss Chalet from…

We usually buy our Swiss Chalet from Yorkmills and from Bayview and we were really disappointed. The food was not crispy. Usually, the bread is crunchy and the chicken is crispy but felt like the chicken was not well done.

Just ordered 2 meals from a sales…

Just ordered 2 meals from a sales associate who could care a less about doing her job. Not friendly not even coherent. Order was still wrong after I corrected her. Asked for well done fries and corrected her when she read my order back as well done chicken! Who in there right mind orders well done chicken. Told her loudly NO WELL DONE FRIES NOT CHICKEN but when my order arrived both orders of fries were very Under Cooked. Somewhat raw and obviously a new type of fry that is not good. And my chicken was over done and ruined. So supporting local on Wednesday is something I’ll not do again. Well at least not at Swiss chalet. I did call to complain and settled for a $7 dollar credit for fries. What’s wrong with this!
